Speed training is a key part of taking an athlete to the next level of competition. We focus on the fundamentals, done consistently and correctly, so progress sticks.
Our athletes have consistently been recognized at the local, state, and national level in their individual sports, with many earning college scholarships.
For us, helping young athletes build speed, strength, power, and quickness, increase mobility, and focus on injury prevention is what helps them reach their maximum athletic potential.
Our speed training program is for athletes of all ages and all levels. We have designed it to increase speed, explosive power, agility, and mental toughness as a long-term development plan, built to meet your needs not just for a season, but for an entire career.
Our athletes have consistently been recognized at the local, state, and national level in their individual sports. We have trained athletes who have excelled at extremely high levels in football, tennis, track, cross country, basketball, martial arts, baseball, soccer, and yes, golf.
Speed training is a very important part of taking an athlete to the next level of competition. At game speed, seconds count. Many athletic movements take place in 0.1 to 0.2 seconds. The practice of moving and accelerating faster conditions the neuromuscular system to improve the firing patterns of fast-twitch muscle fibers, which is essential to developing and maintaining speed for any sport.
Agility training helps an athlete apply that speed to sport-specific scenarios, improving their ability to change direction, brake suddenly, and perform sport-specific skills with speed and dexterity. Combined with power and endurance training, this maximizes an athlete's ability to move faster and perform stronger for longer. Our program focuses not only on speed, but also speed endurance, agility, and mental toughness.

Long before the college scholarships, Emma and Megan Snider were two of Mr. Doug's Taekwondo students in Savannah, earning national medals as kids. That foundation of footwork, balance, and toughness carried them onto a youth tackle-football field as two of the only girls in their league, and eventually all the way through college soccer. As Emma put it back then, they wanted to show that "boys aren't always better than girls at sports."
